Story - The Prize For Jealousy

This an interesting story, a true life story that happened somewhere in Western Africa, its the story about a man who was born as the last son to a family of three, a son, daughter and him being the last, his name is Victor, though the family was poor he managed to move to the city and struggle to become someone in life. As the years went by, Victor got a job and started sending money home. while the elder brother was busy wasting his years at home, and the elder sister later came back home from her husband's house after much quarrel.


When it got to the point for Victor to marry, the elder brother and sister saw the lady as someone who would stop their little brother from spending for the family due to their laziness so they hated her without a cause. It got to a point that the sister wanted to kill the lady especially when she conceived  a child. The hatred moved from her to her child.

Later their father died, Victor's elder brother transferred the blame to Victor, stating that he didn't take care of their dad while he was alive, this allegations made victor's elder sister to be more furious about Victor's wife and little baby, cause she saw them as the reason for victor's lack of care for the family, so she decided to kill the baby in other to hurt victor's wife so much.

On the Funeral Ceremony day she came to Victor's wife and demanded for her to carry the baby for her, with the intention of killing the child, immediately the baby was about to be handed to her, an unseen force strike her dead.

Moral Lesson ; Never hate someone without a cause, never be jealous of others
